These sisal, lidded baskets are handmade by our artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. Sisal fibers are extracted from agave plants, then hand-dye and woven around sweetgrass. Due to the handmade nature, size and color may vary a bit.
Amsha works directly with artisans to produce handmade goods in order to create a lasting and positive impact. We use locally sourced and recycled materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure that our social impact extends to our supply chain.
